Information, not a publishing offer
Website content is general information. Services, deliverables, pricing, dates, rights, royalties, revision allowances and third-party costs become binding only when included in a written agreement accepted by both parties.
No outcome guarantees
Editing, design, distribution and marketing support cannot guarantee retailer acceptance, reviews, sales, rankings, awards or media coverage.
Your material
You confirm that you have the right to share material submitted for assessment and that it does not knowingly infringe another person’s rights. Submitting an enquiry does not transfer copyright or grant publication rights.
Confidentiality
Manuscripts should be handled for assessment and agreed services only. Project-specific confidentiality, subcontractor access and file handling should be addressed in the service agreement.
Intellectual property
The website’s branding and original content may not be reused commercially without permission. Ownership and permitted use of editing work, cover designs, source files, ISBNs and final production files must be stated in each service agreement.
External platforms
Retailers, distributors, printers and other platforms operate under their own terms, availability and pricing. Dublin Book Press is not responsible for changes made by those independent providers outside an agreed scope.
Liability and governing law
These terms are governed by Irish law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law.
